The Public Hearing of the Town Board of the Town of Masonville was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Regular meeting to follow.
Puropse of said hearing is making part of Getter Hill Rd. seasonal.

MINUTES:
Motion by Mike Spaccaforno to accept minutes with correction adding Marie Soroka and Robert Beards as public seconded by Kathy Ryan, all in favor carried.
FLOORTIME:
Steve Roff asked if the Board was considering closing part of Getter Hill why not Gifford Rd also. Discussion was held on these roads and regarding fire issues, etc. Craig said he thinks it’s a bad idea at this time and does not think the Town should do anything to hinder economic growth in the Town.
Steve Roff had a picture of a tree on Bundy Hollow Road fell across the road. Steve heard the Highway men cut it at the edge of the road and left the rest. Chuck said he did not know about this but will check into it.
Nick Genovese said the speed limit sign on County Rt.20 is at a 40% angle. Chuck said he would fix this.
Marie Soroka asked if George Denys is resigning because that is what she heard. Craig said he has no knowledge of this and that she should contact George and ask him.
Judy Jackson said her first night in court with the ADA went great. The ADA and public were very impressed with the new Court facility. Judy went over the auditing of her books and how it needs to be done. The State has changed the process and this now needs to be completed by the 15th of every month. The Board conducted the annual audit of the Justice’s books.
Joann and Tom Gascon spoke on the fine job the Town Justice did on a small claims case they had, They said Judy was great and everything was handled in a professional manner.
Laurie Burpoe, court clerk, reported the availability of a bunch of free filing cabinets in Delhi NY but has no way to get them. Craig asked Chuck if the men could help her out and Chuck said he will take care of it.
Laurie Burpoe reported the Court now has a credit card machine to enable defendants an easier method to pay fees, fines, etc.
HIGHWAY REPORT:
Hauling sand to the stockpile
Repairing storm damaged roads
Cleanded ditches on Cole Spur, Gifford Road and Bundy Hollow
Made parking area by Town Hall
Attended a class for Supervisors
Meeting with FEMA on Storm Damage
Working with the State OGS on getting furniture and file cabinets for the Town Hall for no cost; most is brand new stuff
Joe Reynolds completed his annual shop inspection and the the only thing they need to do make some minor changes to the fire alarm system
Craig said to get a new quote from Sentry alarm systems for 2 heat only detectors that will tie into the Town Hall and 1 entry intrusion alarm.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
Craig read the CEO report for the Month of November
Mike spoke on the building and said they are as far as they can go until the floors are in. Electric is 95% in. Mike said once electric is finished they can get the final inspection and CO. We are operating on a temporary CO at this time.
SUPERVISORS REPORT:
Craig reported that he has been nominated and accepted a position on a panel with the NYS Association of Counties to address unfunded State mandates. Craig will be the Delaware County Representative.
Craig had a follow-up comment on his issues he addressed at last month’s meeting regarding the 2% tax cap. Craig stated he just found out the NYC and the 5 boroughs were all except from the new law. Craig found this interesting and amusing considering the legislature that made up the law are a majority of NY City politicians.
Motion by Mike Spaccaforno to pay all audited Bills, seconded by Kathy Ryan, all in favor carried.
Bob Jackson wanted to thank Kathy for all her hard work and dedication will serving on the Town Board.
Craig said that it is with great regret the Kathy is resigning as Town Board member and appreicates all her hard work. Craig had certificate for Kathy and asked all to stay for cake and punch.
Kathy said thank you to all and said she will be passing her job over to Jeri Brayman and feels she will do a great job as councilwoman.
